Nano Health Solutions originated from the research and development programs of Biomedical Diagnostic Research Laboratories, Inc. (BDR Labs).

BDR Labs developed a test to measure the processes of DNA repair (Serum Protein Thiol). The primary goal of the laboratory was to design a commercially viable test for serum protein Thiols. This study was done in conjunction with The University of Lund in Lund, Sweden. The laboratories were able to correlate their research efforts validating a micro assay that is able to rapidly analyze the total Thiol proteins. This was accomplished and validated in October 2002. The result of this testing spawned questions about how to improve DNA repair. Patients were concerned and were asking BDR Labs for help to improve the process.
